Start today or regret it tomorrow

The baby weight must go (easier said than done).
I have yet to quit eating like I am still pregnant.
I still have been eating all the sweets and treats my little heart desires.
The candy below is all mine (I kid you not). Terrible I know.
I gained a total of 26 lbs during this pregnancy.
Lost 4 lbs during my last 4wks of pregnancy (I was really sick).
1 week after baby I was down 4 lbs ( I was so swollen I looked like the michelin man)
Week 2 after baby I only lost 1 lb. Still looked like the michelin man and could not squish my sausage feet into my running shoes (that was a pretty good excuse for why I couldn't exercise).
Now we are at week 3 after baby.  Lost 11 lbs (all of which was most likely water weight).
My wedding rings now fit, my running shoes fit and most of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit.
My goal is to lose the remaining 6 lbs by my six week check up.
Easier said than done.
I am hoping that this blog post might motivate me

Update

I do infact have Cholestasis once again.  Lee and I met with my OBGYN this afternoon to discuss the game plan.  I will have two appointments weekly.  One appointment will be monitoring Cash's heart rate and movement.  The second appointment will be an ultrasound.  They may decide to take the baby at any time if they feel he is under any kind of stress.  Twice weekly monitoring will happen until just before 36 weeks and then I will have an amniocentesis done.  If his lungs are developed at 36 weeks I will be induced.  I received my first steroid injection today and will return tomorrow for the second dose.  The steroid injections help his lungs develop more quickly.  We are beyond stressed and will not feel any better until we meet this precious little boy.  Its going to be a long couple weeks.

No such luck

Today was a bad day.  I truly felt that this pregnancy was going to go so smoothly, no such luck.  I am posting todays events on the blog to A) vent and get some of my emotions out and B) let everyone know what transpired in hopes that I do not get asked anymore questions.  I have changed a lot over the last couple years (not all for the better).  What I have learned about myself is I bottle up all my emotions and internalize everything (this is not something I am particularly proud of). I can't tell you exactly why this has happened but it has.  I often feel like the only person I have to depend on is myself.  Almost always, hubby is gone when things get rough (that comes with the territory of being a pilots wife).  I will never ask for help.  When asked if I need help I will always so no.  When asked how I am feeling I will always say fine.  For the past couple days I have felt REALLY terrible.  I knew something was wrong but had no idea what it was.  Then last night the itching began followed by contractions.  I knew exactly what was happening.  I slept maybe 3 hours due to the insane itching.  I drove myself to labour and delivery this morning to get blood work (confirming cholestasis).  I will have the results back this Tuesday.  Once hooked up to the monitors I was of course contracting.  They did a fibronectin test which came back negative (great news). I had dialated to 1.5cm.  They did an ultrasound to check the fluid around the baby, it was good.  Baby was very active, heart rate was good.  They are unable to give me terbutaline because of my heart so they gave me nifedipine to stop the contractions.  They finally released me with a Rx for amoxicillin and nifedipine.  I felt like i was trapped in a nightmare today.  I kept having flashbacks to Landons pregnancy and delivery.  I was feeling every emotion, angry, frustrated, sad, scared, guilty, alone.  I shed so many tears today, I can't believe I have any left.  I hate having to talk about it.  I hate answering questions.  Nobody can really put themselves in my shoes.  Sure people are concerned but what can they really do.  Some questions and or comments infuriate me or make me feel guilty.  No... I do not do too much, yes.. I rest, yes.. I drink plenty of water.  There is nothing I want more then a healthy, full term baby boy.  Keep your fingers crossed that he stays happy in there for the next 4 weeks.  Now if only I could get rid of this pounding headache and get some sleep.  I may rub a hole in the bedroom carpet from scratching/dragging my feet across it

Bump Watch (32 weeks)

I'm Huge (and swollen)
Baby boy feels quite massive.
How can this little boy have so much strength.
We are getting VERY excited to meet him.

My anxieties are lifting the closer we get to when Landon was born. Landon was born at 33 weeks. He was born happy and healthy thank goodness, however we do not want another preemie baby.
So far Cash and I are going strong.
Hopefully he hasn't made himself too comfy =)

Ginormous pregnant lady tells all

I have been asked enough times so I figured I best post a Q &A.
I just love strangers comments and questions when I'm pregnant
(no not really, that was a lie).
Are you having twins ? NO

You must be due any day? NO

Can that baby sit any higher? NO, absolutely not

Let me guess, you're having a girl? NO (is it because my butt is so big?)

How are you feeling? My answer is alway GOOD but the truth is I feel horrible.

Do you drink half & half straight out of the carton? Okay nobody has asked this but they should. The answer is yes and it could be a contributing factor as to why I might deliver the worlds largest baby.

My favorite part of the week had to be when (on two seperate occasions) people pointed at me and said "WOW, look at you". WHAT!! Who says that?

Run all my frustrations away on the treadmill
Wear cute clothes
Drink a Corona while eating mexican food

Now that's love

Only your husband and your sister can laugh at the really awkward stomach rolls caused by your completely outdated maternity shorts.

You know that you're REALLY pregnant when...

You go to the grocery store for salad, grapes and pizza dough. When you look down at your cart, you have chocolate soy milk, chocolate covered raisins, and chocolate protein bars.

You let out an uncontrollable grunt every time you roll out of bed or get off the ground.

Your hubby takes you to buy new underwear and loudly asks "will your butt crack be able to stay in these". He's a gem, I know.

All the senior citizens at the grocery store are now passing you up.

You make yourself a bed on the playground while the kids play (Win, Win, kids play I rest).

You go out in the backyard to catch a few rays and hear one of your kids mumble as they walk by "Ahhhh, gross!"

Every time you stand up, you have to pee (even if you went 5 minutes prior).

Your hubby calls and asks if you would be up for a day trip while the kids are on Spring break then says the only problem is he was thinking about Kartchner caverns and he's not sure if I'll fit. That was not a joke people, he was serious (news flash hubby, you will always be bigger then me).

Every time you put on something other then sweat pants, you get told "you look pretty, you got dressed today".

You bake chocolate chip cookies at least once a week.

Just Ninety some days to go =)

The nursery and the name

At some point during the day you will most likely find me sitting in this quiet, adorable room, rocking away in the rocking chair. I can't wait to get my hands on baby Cash.
The name is no longer a secret LOL
I did both the paintings on the wall. The first one I painted was the bear and I had mom paint the outline of the bear (her lines are much straighter then mine), the giraffe I attempted on my own (lines aren't as straight but I love it and had fun doing it).
Lee and I are so excited. I have a feeling Cash might get a few extra snuggles and be rocked to sleep more often then we will admit. He will be our last little baby so we will taking advantage of every single moment.
For six blissful weeks this summer I get all four loves of my life all to myself (kids are out of school and Lee took 6 weeks off work). Just fun, laughs, kisses, snuggles and doing whatever we want. I can't wait!!

Lil Man

Baby boy #3. He's a wild one, it was very difficult to get good pictures of him. The tech didn't even have to tell us the gender, it was very obvious (staring us right in the face). Lee and I looked at each other a burst into laughter. Boys is what we know and what we do best. We went and bought some new clothes for baby #3, then let the boys open it to find out if they are having a sister or a brother. I was so excited after seeing that cute lil face that I went a little crazy and almost completed the nursery. Lil man, we can't wait to get our hands on you and kiss that cute little face.

Could it be true????

We will soon find out the gender of the third and final Ledogar baby. I could easily see myself with 3 boys (I feel like a definite boys mom) but I could just as easily see myself with a little girl (the poor thing will be wearing giant flower headbands, leggings and tutu's until she has an opinion of her own). I will have an ultrasound in the next 2-3 weeks and if everything goes well, the wondering will be over. Lee and I are beyond excited for the third baby. The boys are great helpers now and are very eager to help with a new baby.

As soon as we found out we were pregnant we jumped on the computer to see what the Chinese gender chart said (it was right for both boys) It said girl! If you have never seen it, go to the link below. Conception was September and my age at delivery 31.

http://www.babymed.com/chinese-gender-and-sex-calculator-calendar

Next we did the old wives tale with the needle and thread hung over your belly.
It said girl!

Finally, I tried the silly IntelliGender gender predictor kit.
It said Girl!

I've been taking a poll and Girl is winning by a landslide. What's your vote?
We will soon find out.

Bump Watch (15 weeks)

15 weeks, baby is the size of an apple.
The amount of Chocolate milk and Starburst candy I have consumed, is frightening (disgusting really)
This pregnancy is nothing like the other two.
I just have to go with it and hope the time passes quickly =)

Its hard to feel blue.........

Today was FREEZING and I was feeling a little blue. This beautiful blue eyed man must have sensed that I was feeling down so he was my personal snuggle bug full of compliments. It hard to stay blue when you have this beautiful blue eyed boy kissing, snuggling and telling you that you are pretty and he loves you =( He's the best, he's me buddy!

My little reminders

Occasionally I will forget that I'm pregnant until I read on the computer (early in the morning) words like pomegranate jello salad or hear on the radio while driving to work come try our fruit and maple oatmeal at McDonalds or my favorite when I smell a man that smells just like sour milk and stinky feet (Kid you not, it happens every time I'm pregnant)
