My love at first sight

My first born, my love at first sight.  Landon is a very unique kid.  He is wise beyond his years, an old soul.  Every year that he grows a year older a piece of my heart breaks.  I am very protective of Landon and have worried about him from the time he was born.  He is the biggest Mama's boy of the bunch and I am so thankful for that.  He is a great helper and the most amazing big brother.  He reads at a fifth grade level and gets the biggest kick out of stumping his mama with questions that he asks.  He is very sociable and friendly.  He is a beast, I swear this kid has a six pack.  He is an outstanding swimmer.  He is the best snuggler in the whole wide world.  He is a perfectionist which isn't a bad trait but it can break my heart at times.  He needs to feel in control at all times.  His big brown eyes and precious laugh speak to my soul.  "Cool" has never been a word to describe myself, I'm afraid that this seven year old boy has more cool factor than I will ever have.

"The most terrifying day of your life is the day the first one is born.  Your life as you know it is gone, never to return.  But they learn how to walk, how to talk and you want to be with them. And they turn out to be the most delightful people you'll ever meet in your life." - Lost in Translation

Mini me in the middle

Brody, my little mini me.  He is so sweet and naturally funny.  He gets excited easily.  He has the most contagious laugh.  His little round belly and his sweet little arms and hands that are still pudgy and baby like, melt my heart.  He still speaks with a slight Elmer Fudd accent (selfishly I want it to stay forever).  People are drawn to him instantly.  He makes friends easily and is friends with all.  He chews his nails and loves to wear Batman/SpiderMan t-shirts both which make me crazy.  He has excelled so quickly this school year.  He loves to read.  He is becoming much more independent (makes me sad).  He is so forgetful. He loves music and dancing (kid has some moves).  His favorite thing to do is ride his bike.  He is fearless when it comes to trying new things.  He says the funniest things.  He is very determined and persistent neither a bad trait however it can be challenging to parent (both are common characteristic traits among the three siblings).  He has a huge heart and so much love to give.  I love this little middle man of mine.  My world would not be complete without this sassy, hilarious, some times exhausting, boy of mine.
One on one time with this guy is never dull and always pretty entertaining.
