St. Patricks Day

That pesky Leprechaun was snooping around our house again while we were sleeping.  He was up to his same old (naughty) shenanigans, leaving a trail of gold dollars, piles of skittles, turning our milk green (Brody does not appreciate this), toilet water green,  and he ATTEMPTED to turn our sink water green (he is obviously a dummy because it ended up flooding our bathroom).  Stupid Leprechaun ;)
And we ended the day with a themed dinner of course.
Green Chile Enchiladas
Spanish rice
Chips and salsa
Green sour cream
Leprechaun milk (for kids) Beer for Mama and YaYa
Chocolate coins
Green flapper pie
rainbow shortbread cookies and whip cream

Leprechaun Day!

Try as we might, we can not catch that pesky Leprechaun. We worked on a trap.  The boys were so excited.  Landon said if we caught him that I would need to go buy a cage from PetSmart LOL, Brody's response "does he hit" LOL.  The pesky Leprechaun always does naughty things.  He dumped out the gold glitter that we used to lure him in, turned our milk green, dumped flour all over the counter ( we saw his little footprints in it), bit some of our chocolate gold coins, glittered our potty and sent the boys on a scavenger hunt looking for gold (which they found under their bed). The scavenger hunt started with a puzzle that they had to assemble to see the first clue, then they continued on to several other clues until they found 10 REAL GOLD COINS (best day ever LOL)
 Happy St. Patricks Day!!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

We made rainbow decorations, played St Patricks's Day bingo, had rainbow cupcakes and ate lucky charms for breakfast. That pesky leprechaun came to our house again. He always makes a big mess. He filled our toilet with glitter, turned our milk green, dumped lucky charms all over the table, threw chocolate gold coins on the table and hid real $1 gold coins all over the house. Now the boys are on a mission to save $8 more dollars so that they can each buy a stinky little trash monster (best behavior and lots of chores for the rest of spring break *evil Laugh*).
