Love is in the air

Yes...Lee contributed to the 1.8 billion dollars spent on flowers this Valentines Day.

The boys and I had heart shaped pancakes, heart shaped bacon, strawberries with pink sprinkles and milk with a hot pink heart shaped ice cube, for breakfast.

I made Landon a special Valentines Day lunch with a little added love note on his napkin. When I write him love notes on his napkins, he keeps them (is that not the sweetest thing ever). He really is the cutest!

I have enough Sees candies to last me to next year. I love me some red hots LOL

I left sexy pants a little surprise on his nightstand. Scratch off tickets since I hit the Jackpot the day I met him and a box of chocolate tools since he will always be my favorite tool (I couldn't resist, he thinks I'm funny LOL)

Brody's Valentine's Day painting is the sweetest thing I have ever been given. My favorite part is his name at the bottom.....Broby =)

Landon gave us a card with a coupon book inside. He is so eager to have one of us use a coupon. This morning at 5:45 am he was asking me if I wanted him to wash the dishes or fold the laundry (gotta love that kid)

Every year I paint my nails red for Valentines Day! This year I tried to be trendy and paint one nail a different color (Not liking it).

We brought Great Grandma a rose.

Aunt Sarah came for dinner. We had heart shaped pizza (we each made our own), salad, watermelon, sparkling cider (in our fancy plastic cups) and pink heart cupcakes for dessert.

I bought the kids "Lady and the Tramp" as a surprise. We all snuggled up on the couch and waited for daddy to get home.

Happy Valentine's Day from the Ledogars !!

Countdown to Valentines Day

I made these cute little mailboxes for the boys and fill them with special surprises each day. Then I got thinking about how terribly Lee and I spoil the boys and started wondering if we were doing the wrong thing. The conclusion.....absolutely not! There is nothing wrong with being spoiled as long as you always appreciate what you have. I will continue to spoil my boys rotten. My house will always be filled with love, laughter, and happiness. I will always be their biggest cheerleader. I will love them even when they are rotten. We adults forget that childhood can be difficult. What seems like no big deal to us can be a huge deal to them. They might fail a test, miss the goal while playing soccer, be called a nerd on the playground, but always know that soon they will be home and there will always be two people that think they are the greastest.

Hope you had a "red hot" Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!

You are so loved!

For Valentines Day I made my boys Super Hero Capes with a little note that read "I think you're super".
What does every super hero need.......a flashlight of course. They have been bugging me for flashlights for the past 2 months. Now my super heros can see in the dark.
Handsome hubby got this little surprise on his pillow. I'm sure he was thrilled LOL
I also made him a little rock for on his nightstand.
I am so happy I was in the room when he found it and flipped it over. I love his laugh more then anything. He really does ROCK!! LOL
His final Valentines Day surprise was that I had every meal pre-made for him, the boys clothes laid out, house cleaned and laundry done. All he had to do was enjoy the day and his boys while I was at work. For breakfast I had bacon, strawberries and homemade pink pancake batter in a squirt bottle (ready to make pink pancake hearts) For lunch they has heart shaped turkey sandwiches and dinner was a chicken casserole with a giant heart shaped brownie for dessert.
My three sweet little Valentines (hubby not pictured) made me enormous handmade cards with pink and red glitter glue. I love them, best Valentines I have ever received. I tried to take a picture but the picture did them no justice. They are BEAUTIFUL and I love them.

I love you more than bees love honey

This years Valentines Day table centerpiece. The basket of flowers were from Dr. Liu for my birthday, the candies and red tinsel were from an orthodontist office we refer too, a little construction paper and a jar full of love notes to my someone special. Gotta love it

More flowers from my birthday, a plastic tray that I covered in paper and doilies and a little twine heart I made today.
My boys love to craft as well. Here are their creations, pretty talented right??
I got a lot of flowers for my birthday which works out great since my birthday is so close to Valentines Day. I made the sign on the wall for Lee by burning a heart and our initials into the piece of wood with a wood burner. Makes me smile every time I look at it.
