Landon lost his very first tooth yesterday. He pulled it out himself when he woke in morning. The look on his sweet little face when he woke me up to show me, was priceless. I hope that image of him stays etched in my brain forever (so proud, so excited). When his tooth started to wiggle a few weeks back, we bought him a book "Bears loose tooth". We told the boys that every tooth they lose we will write it down in the book so we can always remember. Landon was so excited to get his name in that book.
Brody was a little concerned by this missing tooth (you could see the wheels turning in that silly little mind). The proceeding conversation went a little something like this.......Brody-"Landon are all your teeth going to fall out". Landon-"yes but I get new big ones". Brody-"well if you lose all your teeth and only get two back, you can look like a rabbit. Landon-"if I lose a few more I can look like Turtle Man, that would be funny". My kids kill me. Their conversation reminded me of a game of "would you rather" with Aunt Sarah. We were driving in the car playing a game of "would you rather" and Sarah's question to the boys was, would you rather have black rotten teeth? or no teeth? Brody chose black rotten, Landon chose no teeth (we were killing ourselves laughing).
Mommy made special chocolate monkey cupcakes with balloons, to celebrate the occasion
(I'll take any excuse for a cupcake).
Last night we were visited by the most beautiful, glittery fairy and we caught it on camera. We propped the camera up in the boys room and had little hope of getting a glimpse of the beautiful tooth fairy but low and behold we got it! When the kids first saw the photo pop up, it was a mix of emotions. Landon stared with his mouth open for awhile then started laughing hysterically and said "The tooth fairy is HUGE"! Brody never cracked a smile and had the look of shear terror on his face. I said wow Brody can you believe it. Brody's response "The tooth fairy is really big it scares me LOL
Did I make her a little too big LOL
Did I make her a little too big LOL
Guess what she left him????

They must be covered in her magic glitter dust!
AMAZING! This was such a fun "FIRST" for the family.
and his little toothless hole melts my heart.
