*Baking Christmas cookies (me)

*Decorating the house
*watching Christmas movies
*reading Christmas books each night
*Making reindeer food
*Family Christmas Eve party
*Hiding Santa's key

The Sunset was amazing
Drama a.k.a Brody was doing what he does best, being dramatic.

Baby man loved all the lights.
I figured he would have fallen asleep since it was an hour past his bedtime but he stayed awake and happy. The trick to keeping him happy was I carried him in a carrier instead of his stroller.
Mom advise: Buy glow sticks from the dollar store, hide them in a bag and give them to the kids when they start asking for the $20 glow wands that turn into weapons on the ride home.
They were just as happy with the dollar store ones.

I had to add this little gem.  Yes we do in fact live in the desert.  As I was sitting on the curb trying to get a cool picture of the lights, Landon walks up behind me and very nonchalantly says "Oh be careful mom, there's a scorpion right by your butt.  Its a big one". I thought he was kidding, never even turned around and kept taking my pictures.  Landon just stood behind me eating his popcorn, admiring it.
Gross. The rest of the night I was positive that I had scorpions on me, Lee found this funny (it may have been his favorite part of the night).
