Randomness

* Landon singing a song for Lee and I that he learned in school.  Brody mad that Landon is getting our attention so he starts rolling his eyes, sticking his tongue out, singing the same tune but only saying penis.  Parenting dilemma yell at Brody but interrupt Landon or try not to look at Brody and keep listening to Landon.  We chose to continue listening because giving him attention was what he wanted regardless of if it was positive or negative.  Let me tell you that was really hard to keep a straight face.

*I am a complete worry wart.  I decided to start obsessing on the fact that the baby still does not have any teeth.  Lee listened to me repeat myself for most of the day then at the end of the night burst out into hysterics when I asked "do you think he has teeth? what if he was born with none".  Yes,I now realize how ridiculous it was of me to spend an entire day worrying about a 7 month old with no teeth.

*Driving around with kids in Christmas Pj's, Christmas music blaring, admiring all beautiful Christmas lights, with one kid fist pumping in the back and the other rolling his window down to yell Merry Christmas to a poor old man walking home (as we did 1 mph).  Sarah's response "ok this just got weird , now I feel weird".

*Lee bending down to pick me up off the couch and take me to bed is not a pretty sight.  I was laughing the entire time and telling him to put me down before he hurt himself. He managed it but I can only imagine what we looked like.

*Landon riding his bike singing "Call me maybe" might be the sweetest thing I have ever seen.

*Brody told me when he grows up and is an adult, all he's going to eat is chocolate.

*Awkward moment of the week:  having to explain to your mom and husband how a nickel size dent appeared on the wall.  I may have been scratching (picking) my nose when I turned, got dizzy, lost my balance and smashed into the wall with my elbow.  The look on my moms face was priceless.

*Brody took his training wheels off the other day.  He refuses to let Lee and I help so we just have to stand gritting our teeth watching this very scary (crazy) 5 year old wobble down the street.  He started to get too confident, took off riding ridiculously fast, turned and ran full speed into a bush, flipped over the handle bars and got stuck cradled in the bush.  Landon was the first to arrive at the scene.  I had to take my time because lets be honest, that was funny and so hard not to laugh. P.S he was fine

*Reading a story Landon had written at school, smiling, thinking about how he is such a smart little boy.  The story was about a snowman that came to life, they had a sleepover, ate ice cream, went sledding.  Just when I was thinking I can't believe my little man wrote this, he threw in "and then I flushed him down the toilet" (definitely my child).

*Lee was playing with the kids outside while I ran to the store on Christmas Eve. He took Brody's feet out from under him by smashing into him with a 50mph remote control car, breaking Brody's shoe and smashing his face into the cement. Ask me how I felt about this? I came home to a lovely, ginormously fat lip and bloody hands. Not a happy mama.

*Hearing Brody in the other room on Christmas night say to Landon "I can't believe that I made it on the good list", PRICELESS !
