First I would like to say, thank goodness for school teachers.
How do they do it.
If I were a teacher I would not have the patience or energy for fun with my own kids.
It is exhausting
We started our morning out with making some reindeer food.
We were using what I had on hand, which was panko, sprinkles and glitter.
The reindeer are going to love it.
Next we started on some salt dough ornaments.
The boys make them each year and hand them out to all the family on Christmas Eve.
Nana always gets "a piece of poo" ornament from Brody.
This years is a dandy, it will not disappoint.
Nothing say Merry Christmas like a piece of poo ornament on your tree.
They made the dough themselves
Kept them busy for a good hour
While the ornaments were baking, they made thank you pictures for Santa.
and had a snowball fight.
Poor Baby Man was caught in some crossfire (it didn't seem to bother him much).
After lunch we painted the ornaments then settled down for a Christmas movie.
Throw in some housecleaning, a couple time-outs, 2 loads of laundry, and a bike ride.
Pretty much a perfect day.
I love when we can throw schedules out the window.
3 more days till Christmas YIPEE!
