Domestic goddess, I am not!

I thought I would try my hand at baking with active yeast. I was so excited, feeling very proud of myself as I was letting the dough rise and beating it down. It smelled amazing! Then everything started to go down hill when I was placing the dough in the pans. I still had hope until I pulled these ugly things out of the oven. A quick breakdown of my homemade rolls.....they smell delicious, they look absolutely atrocious and taste alright. Will I attempt them a second time?.....not likely.
