Mommy tips for Zoo Lights

Zoo lights can be really pricey so I came up with a couple easy ways to save money.
1) Buy your tickets ahead of time (saves time and money)
2)Pack snacks (throw in some fun candy so they aren't tempted by the million treat stands)
3) Bring your own glow sticks/flashing noses ect.($15 per each glow wand at the zoo that later become weapons on the drive home, is not ok)

I even go a step further and buy my glow toys, noses, and pez dispensers from the dollar section the day after Christmas (for 50% 0ff) and throw them in the closet for the following year.  We could have easily spent well over $60 on snacks and glow toys, but with a little planning ahead it cost a mere $4.50.
