I really wanted to buy an ostrich egg for $20 and cook it for dinner. Lee wasn't having it. One Ostrich egg is the equivalent to 23 chicken eggs.
Sarah took the kids on a 45 minute monster truck tour. Apparently the tour was very educational because Landon and Sarah were sharing all the newly learned facts with us for the entire drive home. They even pet a diamondback rattlesnake that the tour guide had frozen in a cooler (eeeeek!) Did you know that a dead rattlesnake can still bite you? It can! Never touch a dead rattle snake on the head. Crazy right?

This donkey was hilarious. Lee would say "who can smile?", and he did this every time.
Yup.......thats my kid feeding a goat out of his own mouth. Proud mama moment right there.

The boys had so much fun with the birds that Lee had to buy more nectar. They would have stayed in there forever.
Who was the only one to get pooped on?.........me of course!
I really wanted a pair of ostrich feather earrings and they didn't have any =( Whats a girl to do? I grabbed some loose feathers off the ground, then came home and made a pair. How cute are these? The only problem they smell a little nasty LOL
