Christmas Eve 2011

The kids made Cookies for Santa

and reindeer food for the reindeer(oats and green sprinkles)

Then we made fresh squeezed orange juice for Christmas breakfast (the oranges are all off our tree in the back). Made the pancake batter and got the bacon ready.

Nana always cooks Christmas Eve dinner for everyone and Sarah makes the dinner entertaining. This years theme was a "mustache party" (Last years was the ugly christmas sweater party). She even had games planned out and prizes.
Tessa won "who's stache is it?"
The prize....2 mustache mugs.
Below is our Stepbrothers photo.

The Crossen girls all had matching mustaches.
Great grandpa
Grandma won "who wore it best"
She won a "secret stash" of chocolates.

Nana and her boys
The boys won "pin the stache on Bert Reynolds"
Grandma read the kids their Christmas books before bed
Then we headed home to sprinkle the reindeer food that we made earlier in the day. Gotta make sure the reindeer see our house.
We hid Santa's magic key.
Put out his milk and cookies, said goodbye to Honko the elf, put the camera out to try and catch a picture of Santa, and snuggled together to watch a Christmas special before bed.
