A trip down memory lane(my teenage years)

I was born a raised in British Columbia Canada then moved to Lynden Washington as a teenager. Lynden Washington is an extremely small town on the Canadian boarder. I knew from the beginning that I was not one to stay in Lynden for long. I have great memories and love that I got to experience living in a small town however never quite felt like I could completely be myself. We lived in a beautiful house with a white picket fence. This was the house where I was picked up for my first date and had my first kiss at the front door. A house that was always full of friends, the doors were always open. This was the house that I came home from school to see my very first car parked in the driveway with a giant bow on top.
Memories from my teenage years:
*bonfires on the beach and at the river
*school dances
*Spending everyday with my BFF Lindsey
*dressing up for football games (Go Lynden Lions)
*kissing in a corn field (that really happened LOL)
*skipping rocks at teddy bear cove
*sleepovers
*Walking a cow in giant gross overalls (punishment for talking in class)
*skiing every winter
*Waitressing
*small town parades
*NWW Fair
*parties
*Belonging to the FFA(embarrassing)
I didn't tell my husband until after a year of marriage. We were sitting on a plane watching Napolean Dynamite, I will never forget it. I have never seen my husband laugh so hard.
*Falling in love for the first time at 18 years old
(wish I could say a regret it but I don't)

I have a lot of cherished memories from this town and that time of my life.
I wouldn't change a thing,
(even all the teenage shenanigans I pulled that drove my parents bonkers).
